WARRIORTrolls Warriors are not like their Orc and Tauren brothers. Firstly they prize speed and quickness over brute force. This fact alone makes them invaluable members of the Horde, and quite annoying combatants for the enemy. Secondly, they seem to favor fighting without armor or with very light armor, as opposed to the Orc and Tauren who have tough natural hides and are often clad head to toe in armor. This allow Trolls, with their incredible quickness, to easily out maneuver the vast majority of combatants they face, save the Night Elves.Saying that the Trolls love combat is truly an understatement. The Trolls live for combat, the very thought of avoiding combat is abhorrent them. Troll mercenaries are known all through out Azeroth, and are considered among the fiercest of warriors. Though to some, like the Dwarves, the Trolls would seem to carry quite rudimentary weapons, and therefore would not seem as much of a threat. Nevertheless Trolls have shown that even the most basic of blades can be lethal in the proper hands. The enemy should be wary, for with their recent union with the Horde, the Trolls are no doubt brandishing weapons of incredible sharpness PRIESTSeeing a need in the Horde's army for healing magics, the voodoo priests of the Darkspear tribe began the study of holy and shadow spellcraft. While crude in their practice of healing, it didn't take long before troll priests were seen on the battlefields, raising injured and fallen among the Horde warriors. What enemies should be more wary of is the mastery of the shadow magics that the trolls were able to attain. It is not uncommon to see the enemy of a troll priest stop in his tracks and run away in terror as the priest twisted the mind of his enemy, driving him insane. ROGUEWhether hiding out in the dense jungles of the Echo Isles, or picking pockets on the busy streets of Durotar, the Troll Rogues of the Darkspear tribe have become renowned among members of the Horde as being ruthless and self-serving in their pursuit for gold. The Troll Rogues, while banded together under a common banner, are shunned among their own kind, and are often disowned by their friends and family because of their criminal ways. The Troll's loyalty to each other is unmatched among the criminal underworld of other races, as with no one else to care for them, they care for each other in times of need. Like a family, the Troll Rogues stick together through thick and thin, with no greater purpose in life then to stand by their brethren. HUNTERTroll Hunters are light fast warrior that shun heavy armor and weapons. Their agility and training afford them many defensive maneuvers. And their swiftness with a light weapon in either or both hands is a sight to be seem. To survive in the wild, Troll Hunters have also learned to be deadly shoots with bows or spears. Their abilities only furthering the effectiveness of such weapons.Troll Hunters also often learn the skills to be self sufficient, be it fishing and cook for food, skinning and tailoring for clothes and armor, or mining and engineering for weapondary. Hunters bring the World of Warcraft alive with their diversity of companions, ways, and personalities. They are a wonder support for communities and groups of all kinds. SHAMANTroll Shaman are the spiritual leaders of their tribes. They communicate with spirits, have visions of the future, and guide their people through the darkest of times. Many mistake their wisdom and serenity for a pacifist nature. When challenged, though, shamans have a range of powers available for dealing with threats to the natural order. The Troll Shaman is a secondary Healing class (to the Priest) with a fun assortment of spells and options. The Shaman is especially liked by party members for their Healing and beneficial totems. The Shaman has up to four types of totems: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. An important part of playing the Shaman is figuring out which totem is best to use in each situation. The Shaman is both an offensive melee class and a powerful voodoo user. MAGETroll Mages are a new and dangerous class. Trolls who have until now stuck with voodoo magic and Shamanism are now delving into the chaotic raw power of the arcane, and finding that they are equally as skilled at turning their powers into destructive offensive weapons as with other forms of magic. |
